$100 for 3 Durians

Had chicken rice with my dad and mum on saturday. Dad paid $18.00 for the dinner. Pretty decent pricing for a simple meal. After dinner, dad did his usual fruit hunt. See, my dad likes fruits and will often be seen checking out the nearby fruit stalls after our meals.

And this time, it's durians. 15 minutes later, the fruit seller was weighing 3 durians and muttered "ji ba kaur". I couldn't believe my ears!!! 3 durians for $100!!!


I just don't understand my dad at times. He can simply splurge on his fruits. Hmm... if I only I can get him to buy some kyoto grapes for me. Heh! ;)

Surprise Brunch at Brewerkz

This wasn't planned at all. But it was a pleasant surprise to be brought to Brewerkz on a saturday to have lunch and a jug of Golden Ale. Life is great!

Pretty disappointed with the grilled wings but the mash potato totally rocks!
